For my birthday this year my mom took me to the Cape Fear Botanical Gardens in Fayetteville. We thought that since it was late October, there wouldn't be too much in bloom, but we could still at least check out the Gardens. There were some flowers that were actually blooming, so we got to see some pretty colors. The Heritage Garden had some cotton that was getting ready to pop open, and the muscadine grapes (local wine favorite) were on display as well. The Garden has a large area where you can walk around and view different flowers during different times of the year as well as a river trail. It is a very relaxing place, and a beautiful place to photograph.
